Kids

Kids who are well nourished grow better, feel better, learn better…

Kids should eat healthyOur eating habits have changed dramatically in the last 30 years and our children are paying the price.

Food insufficiency, whether from poverty, eating disorders, or "under nutrition" from too many nutrient-poor foods hampers academic achievement.

The types of food a child eats on a daily basis will affect brain development and growth, bone formation, ability to reach full genetic potential, moods, activity patterns and ability to cope with stress. Undernourished kids will not grow, learn, or achieve to their potential. Poor eating habits need to be changed at as young an age as possible as the damage they can do to growing bodies can last a lifetime.

There is currently a worldwide epidemic of obesity and disordered eating in kids. It is largely environmental - it's not your fault, or your child's fault. Together we can work together to create solutions that will work for your family.

Arrange a nutrition consultation for your child if the child is

  • A "picky eater" or not eating well
  • Over or under weight
  • Has blood sugar or cholesterol concerns
  • Getting too many calories from "junk food"
  • Constipated
  • Exhibiting signs of ADHD
  • At risk of or has a chronic disease
